Getting started
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into a compatible device. It lets you install an Only eSIM data plan without a physical SIM card. Check your plan’s activation instructions before installing: some plans start at installation, while others start on their first connection to a supported network.
Choose a data plan for your destination, then follow the installation instructions in your order. At your destination, select the eSIM for mobile data and follow its roaming and network instructions. When the plan starts depends on its activation rule, shown with the plan details.
Using an eSIM for your travels offers fantastic benefits:

No physical SIM is needed for your Only eSIM data plan. Check that your phone is unlocked and eSIM-compatible, and follow your plan’s installation and activation instructions. You will need an internet connection to download the eSIM.
Installation
Check your plan’s activation rule before installing:
- Select a Plan: Visit our Destinations page to find a plan that fits your itinerary.
- Purchase Online: Complete your purchase through our website.
- Check When It Starts: First-connection plans can be installed before departure. Installation-triggered plans start at setup, even if you keep the line off; install only when ready to start validity.
- Install Your eSIM: Follow our installation guide using reliable Wi-Fi.
Each eSIM is linked to a single device and cannot be transferred. If you need connectivity on multiple devices, you'll need to purchase a separate eSIM plan for each one.
Managing your eSIM is simple:
- iOS Devices: Go to Settings > Cellular to manage your eSIM profiles.
- Android Devices: Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network.
Switching between eSIM profiles is easy and can be done in your device's settings. For step-by-step instructions, visit our How to Install page or contact our support team.
Installation usually takes a few minutes with reliable internet and a compatible device. Check when your plan starts first: first-connection plans can be installed before departure, while installation-triggered plans start counting down at setup even if the line is off. Contact support before installing if the timing is unclear.
Unfortunately, eSIMs purchased from Only eSIM are not transferable between devices. If you switch devices, you'll need to purchase a new eSIM plan.

Top-ups are available for eligible eSIMs. Open your plan in the app or Dashboard to check available top-up options. Availability depends on the eSIM and its provider. If no top-up is available, you can purchase a new plan.
Validity varies by plan. Check the duration and activation rule in the plan details before buying. Some plans start when installed; others start when they first connect to a supported network.

Only eSIM apps
Yes. Download Only eSIM from the App Store. You’ll need an eSIM-compatible device to use a travel plan.
Yes. Download Only eSIM from Google Play. Not every Android phone supports eSIM, so check your device’s compatibility before buying a plan.
Share & Earn
Share your promo code. When someone enters it on an eligible plan purchase or paid top-up, they save 20% and you earn 20% of the discounted plan price after fulfillment. It works on repeat orders too, whenever they use your code.
For example, a US$50 plan costs them US$40 and earns you US$8. See eligibility and program terms.
You don’t need a following or a separate creator account. Sign in, open Share & Earn, accept the program terms and claim your promo code. Self-referrals and orders you control are not eligible.
Earnings stay pending for 30 days after the order is fulfilled. Reviews can hold them longer, and refunds or reversals can reduce them.
